We are seeking a skilled, passionate, and dedicated Veterinary Assistant to provide vital clinical support to our veterinarians (DVMs) and credentialed veterinary technicians.
Veterinary Assistant Job Description:
Pay: $17.00 – $19.00 per hour
Durham Animal Hospital is a full-service, single-doctor small animal practice. We offer a fun-loving yet professional atmosphere.
We are searching for experienced veterinary assistants to join our team. Responsibilities include helping the veterinarian, pharmacy/lab duties, processing/maintaining medical records, answering phone calls, and scheduling appointments. Experience with Avimark practice management software is a plus!
There is potential to grow into a leadership position for the right candidate. Must be available to work Monday-Friday and some Saturdays. Occasional shift coverage at our sister hospital, North Churton Animal Hospital, in Hillsborough, NC, may be necessary.
