Whether it’s your neighbors, family, or your community, fireworks happen all around us – and they can be quite difficult to avoid in some cases. When it comes to your pets, they can become terrified or extremely anxious at the sound of booming fireworks. So what can you do to protect your pet?

Here are a few helpful tips for keeping your pet calm during fireworks:

  • Leave your pet safely indoors, with a TV or radio on if possible to eliminate any outside noise
  • Close any windows or curtains to block out the noise and the bright flashes
